404 Reference Integrated

The Moonriver 404 Reference is an integrated amplifier that takes the performance of the already-award-winning 404 system even further.  Starting up front, a fully discrete preamp section provides acute dynamics and couples with a preamp output section that is optimized for wide bandwidth and low distortion.  This combination delivers neutral sonic character and clean, powerful transients. The designers careful selected each component in the preamp to preserve a natural sound, and minimize complexity which can cloud the overall sonic signature.  Like the 404 Standard, the Reference model can be set up with optional MM/MC Phono stages and DAC stages.  These modules can be added by the user and add optional functionality to an already well-mannered integrated.  One of the major improvements to the 404 Reference is the higher capacity power supply, supporting 107,000uf of capacitance, nearly 2x the reserve available in the Standard model.
