Fennel, Perfection

A great large bulbing fennel! These little guys out perform many of the classic European varieties. Its a very large and very uniform variety while still remaining a fantastic open pollinated variety that we can collect seed from year after year! It does a great job of resisting bolting and will be a 'Perfect’ hit this summer! Fennel: With an amazing, licorice or anise-like flavor fennel is a really special addition to the garden. Growing Tips: Fennel really likes fertile, well-drained soils so make sure to add compost to the garden before planting. In order to get large bulbs, there needs to be consistent moisture in the soil. A drip irrigation system and mulch can help.
