Honey Brook Winding Sticks Limited Edition --Figured Koa with Tiger Maple Inlays

When dimensioning stock for a project, winding sticks are an important tool to remove any twist from your wood.  The Honey Brook Winding Sticks are beautifully handmade for this purpose.  This Limited Edition set is made with premium figured koa that has been quartersawn for optimum dimensional stability. This set of Honey Brook Winding Sticks have been handcrafted to the following specifications. This pair of winding sticks is made from premium quartersawn figured koa with  tiger maple sighting inlays;   These winding sticks are 16" long, 5/8" wide, and 2" tall. As with all of my winding sticks, these have a tapered profile, tapering from 5/8" at the base to approximately 5/16" at the top. I cut and inlay the sighting inlays by hand. As with my other tools, the Honey Brook Winding Sticks receive hand-mixed shellac followed by Alfie Shine hard wax. After inspection, I hand-stamp each set with my maker's mark before delivery.
