Honey Brook Marking Gauge "No. 197"

The Honey Brook "No. 197" Marking Gauge is my take on the Stanley No. 197, a vintage marking gauge that featured a circular cutter similar to those on my standard marking gauges.  I'll be making these in batches from time to time and this is the first of those batches!  These are available in a variety of beautiful domestic and exotic woods. The Honey Brook "No. 197" Marking Gauge features: An elliptical head measuring 1 7/8" tall and 2 1/2" wide  Two 1/2" round brass inlays to protect the head from wear over time A 8" beam fitted with a circular cutter and brass screw.  The cutter provides a clear and crisp line for all of your layout needs.
