But it does charge your device.   TESTS & QUALITY CONTROL 100% Charge Test: Full charging functionality connected to power source before exiting the factory 100% Sync Test: Full sync functionality connected to device before exiting the factory 100% Volt Drop Tolerance Test: All cables must hold up to the standard of 5V, or a range between 5.2V-4.75V. In the test, 5V is sent through the cable. If the indicator on the other side shows less than 4.75V is arriving, then it won’t charge well, and the cable is scrapped as non-functioning. AQL Bend Test: Machine bends the cable in the center approximately 10,000 times to check for stress, strain, and cracks in the casing or wire. Never use any cable with a damaged sleeve or casing. Any cable that is cracked or damaged in the center is a fire hazard.
