Alertys Rapid Visual Pregnancy Test for cattle detects a highly specific marker of pregnancy: pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) as early as 28 days post-breeding with no interference from previous pregnancy after 60 days post-calving. Unlike progesterone levels that fluctuate naturally during a cycle, PAGs are only produced in the presence of an embryo or fetus. Early identification and ongoing confirmation improve reproductive rates and profits. More uniform calving increases price premiums for cow/calf herds.
