A fantastic pair of vintage glazed ceramic blue and green foo dogs. These usually come in a much smaller size, most often 5" or even 7.5" but these stand a whopping 10" tall. They are the largest we have ever come across!They are glazed in blue, green and brown against a cream ceramic base and make such a great addition to one's chinoiserie home decor.  Because of their protective symbolism, foo dogs should be displayed in places where they are sure to be noticed. Place this pair on a console in the foyer, or make them a focal point of the living room atop the mantel.
