Think of the crispest Kikisui pear you've ever had, wrapped in fresh Meyer lemon curd, with just enough toasted brioche character to remind you this is still Russian River Valley at heart. The oak is there but doesn't shout it just looks over its shoulder and nods, and there's this lovely saline quality that makes you crave a seafood tower. It's a lean, sophisticated style – like a marathoner at peak form.
