The Champion acts as a senior management representative of a project team. They are the promoter or champion of the project to the rest of the organization. The champion is responsible for: The success of the project team Being the project champion to the senior management and the organization Ensuring that the project team has everything it needs to succeed The Champion is involved in the development of the project charter in conjunction with other members of the senior management team.
