c. 1900s/1910s; John Weisert Tobacco Co. - St. Louis, MO Antique litho-printed cardstock tobacco ad. This piece advertises Pike-brand pipe tobacco from John Weisert, a St. Louis-based tobacco company. The sign features an illustrated Victorian scene that depicts a medieval-type castle adorned with a front gate that reads "Irish Village" across the front gate. This castle was built in St. Louis as part of a themed attraction for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, also known as the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Framed.
