Early 20th Century Steelworkers Blueprint Cabinet
This massive industrial cabinet was recovered from a decommissioned foundry in Milwaukee, WI. The cabinet housed thousands of blueprints dating back to as early as 1900 - each describing and illustrating different parts that were created by the company for the assembly of ships. From top to bottom this cabinet boasts an impressive forty eight drawers. The cabinet is constructed of 3/4" solid pine throughout. Close inspection of the underside shows the quality of the wood used in construction - a quality rarely seen by today's standards.This cabinet bears the original paint and has not been touched except for dusting. The original tin punch labels adorn the face of the cabinet describing what was once contained inside.The overall dimensions of this cabinet are 91"W x 32"D x 60"H.
