1870s Antique cast iron headstone of one "Barbara (Kern) Zemlack", a Hungarian immigrant who settled in Wisconsin. While not much is known about her life, it appears she married George Zemlack in 1843 and spent her years in Winnebago County. This piece represents the 60-year life of an immigrant who ventured the Atlantic in pursuit of the early American Dream.
