ADAPTED STORY SHOWCASE

The Adapted Story Showcase recognizes scripts, novelizations, and stage plays in any genre that feature an adapted story.  An adapted story is a story based on previously written material, such as: A script based on a previously written book, a short story, a magazine article, a video game, or a stage play. A stage play based on a previously written book or a movie script. A book based on a previously written script (this type of book is known as a "novelization").
