Anasazi Artifact Paper Art | 2' W x 2.5' L |Door County Art Galleries | SOLD | Commissioned Artwork Available
This Art Gallery Located in Door County, Wisconsin offers bohemian wall tapestries and other pieces perfect for exclusive gifts, memorial pieces, and more. The fine art of fiber wall sculptures & tapestries by Wendy Carpenter are handwoven in an impressionist art style through personal borderline abstract-literal interpretations. Carpenter's fiber art wall hangings capture the emotion and power of nature by abstracting the natural world. "Anasazi artifact paper collage captures the emotion and power through abstracting the ancient Pueblo clothing! I was inspired to create a paper piece from the early Basketmaker ll Era (12 Century BCE) after viewing their clothing found in Southern Utah, in 1978. The ash wood frame measures 2' wide x 3' long, 4" deep. The paper art form is constructed with a cotton pulp, applied pigment, and incorporated with hand weaved wool fabric."
