"My Sand Hill Crane sculpture is constructed with individual handwoven feather-shaped forms and sewn together to create a  wingspan in flight. I wove a bamboo reed into the fabric as a feather spine to insert into the driftwood armature. The sculpture measures 8' x 3' x 2'.  My personal interpretation for the wonder of cranes in flight... capturing the emotion and power of the Sand Hill Crane."
