Original German WWII Gebirgsjäger Mountain Troop Officer Visor Cap

Original Item: Only One Available. Third Reich Wehrmacht Heer Gebirgsjager Officer visor hat maker marked with an ink stamp inside the sweatband, also stamp M39 and with a size stamp 56. This Jager peak visor cap has a fine field moleskin wool crown, with dark green wool cap-band and green piping. The peak visor cap retains a bullion embroidered eagle and swas, a wonderful totally genuine metal Edelweiss Cap Badge nicely sewn to hat, plus a very fine set of bullion embroidered oak leaves with red cockade. The chinstrap is the classic sliver officer cord.  The inner lining is champagne color with full celluloid diamond. The visor retains all of its finish both on top and beneath. The leather sweatband is intact and is stamped on the inside. This Gebirgsjäger Officer peak visor cap is in excellent condition with a classic crush shape.
