Original German WWII Gebirgsjäger Mountain Troop Officer Visor Cap by Deutsche Wertarbeit

Original Item: Only One Available. Wonderful looking Third Reich Wehrmacht Heer Gebirgsjager Officer visor Sonderklasse hat by Deutsche Wertarbeit. This Jager peak visor cap has a fine field moleskin wool crown, with dark green wool cap-band and green piping. The peak visor cap retains a bullion embroidered embroidered oak leaves with red cockade, a wonderful totally genuine metal Edelweiss Cap Badge nicely sewn to hat, plus a fine metal Army Reichsadler (Eagle with Swas).  The chinstrap is the classic sliver officer cord. The inner lining is royal blue satin with a celluloid diamond. The diamond is partially damaged but mostly intact and is embossed in sliver Deutsche Wertarbeit Sonderklasse. Deutsche Wertarbeit translates to German Workmanship, they were a known manufacturer of high quality visor caps. The Vulkanfiber visor retains all of its finish both on top and beneath.
