As a physician, I've had quite a few experiences with death and dying... patients who were dying as well as patients who had near death experiences and later told me about them.  I love watching the spiritual world become a vibrant part of a transitioning person's experience... I blog more about that for you here. I love it so much that I became a Death Doula, which has deepened my appreciation for the process, and all of my experiences and training have added up to one takeaway: there are always others present, supporting you, and love surrounding you. No one dies alone.   Think of all of the billions of souls that have lived and gone before you, that not only make you who you are biologically but who have crossed over, and wait for you still, on the other side of that veil.
