The receiver plate is used to mount a traditional bench vise or other accessory to your bench without permanently drilling holes in the work surface itself. Utilizing the receiver plate requires the purchase of a "receiver tube" when ordering your bench or table. The receiver plate is 3/8" mild steel with laser cut holes for fastening a vise or other accessory. (Note: you may need to drill additional holes in the field to mount your accessories).
