About the Photoshoot Hvitserkur is always a delight to photograph, though reaching it requires dedication. The journey adds an extra hour each way, navigating uneven gravel roads riddled with potholes. But as soon as I set my eyes on this natural rock formation standing defiantly offshore, I knew the effort was worth it. On this serene summer evening, I was greeted by a perfectly rippled black sand beach. As if placed there just for this shot, a moss-covered stone in the foreground created a striking contrast against the dark sand, making the composition truly special.
