About the Photoshoot Capturing the serene beauty of Fjadrargljufur Canyon at sunset was an adventure that demanded both patience and perseverance. Fjadrargljufur, located in South Iceland, is a geographical wonder where nature showcases its magnificent sculpting skills. The canyon, with its strange yet stunning formations, appears as if it was carved by an artist with an imagination beyond our wildest dreams. To photograph the canyon bathed in the soft light of sunset, I had to hike to its far end. The journey was challenging, but the view was rewarding beyond measure. I waited for the perfect moment to capture the sun centered in the composition, just above the canyon’s end. This positioning allowed the natural curve of the canyon to guide the viewer’s eye into the heart of the image. The canyon's beauty lies not only in its unique shapes and curves but also in the way light interacts with it.
