Introduced in 1961 the Series One "E" type Jaguar sports car was developed from the LeMans Winning 'D' type of 1955-57. The wheelbase is 2.44m and the 6 cylinder engine of 4235 cc developes 265 b.h.p. giving a top speed of 145 mph. With its revised headlights and windscreen the 1967 car is referred to by enthusiasts as the 1 1/2 series model.
