The 'R' type Bentley was introduced in 1952. The "Continental" is based on the 'R' type chassis and its stunning aerodynamic Mullner designed body produced a superb 118 mph touring car. The 6 cylinder, 456 cc engine drove through a 4 speed gearbox. A total of 208 Bentley Continentals were built between 1952 - 1955 at a cost of $8,500. The Bentley Continental is considered to be one of the most beautiful cars of its time with its distinctive shape and a great credit to its famous marque.
