This shot was taken in 2013 at the Botanical Gardens here in St. Louis, Mo, and is featured in Jack's 11x6 Monograph Series. The Missouri Botanical Garden was always a favorite location for Jack, having shot there dozens if not well over a hundred times there over the years. Several years ago he even had a gallery featured there. Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark and consistently rated as the top botanical garden in the country. For over 158 years, the Garden has been an oasis in the city, a place of beauty and family fun—and also a center for education, science, and conservation.
