The Margarita III

Margarita is a JASA HomeCare client and hails from Panama. At the age of 40, she moved to the United States and began working as a receptionist for a foster care agency. During her tenure there, she closely collaborated with psychologists and psychiatrists and assisted with translation services for both staff and children. Her work here proved to be a great source of inspiration, driving her to pursue a degree in social work by returning to college. Margarita is a proud mother of three children and eight grandchildren. When Margarita was just 36 years old, she got hit by a stray bullet and became paraplegic. She has been a JASACare Home Care client for the past seven years. Margarita loves her two aides who come to help take care of her. From bathing and dressing to cooking and cleaning, Margarita is thankful for her aides and calls them exceptionally attentive.
