Tuna Frenzy

A moment of absolute chaos from above and below! Feeding frenzies start and stop in a matter of minutes. By paying close attention to the birds you will notice a frenzy right before its about to unfold. The spread of high-flying Frigate birds and Bobbies begin circling in tight formations... Suddenly the water boils below, with tuna and birds flying in every direction.The frenzy ends as quickly as it began. What remains are the scales of the small fish feast slowly cascading to the bottom of the ocean. Capturing images in these moments is always an adrenaline rush. Timing is everything, and many attempts are made to get in the perfect position to dive in on the action. Most times the action is over by the time I dive in, however this opportunity was an absolute success.
