Combo Level 3, Dan Schwindt, Wednesday, 7:30-9:00pm

This combo will meet weekly on Wednesdays running June 25th - August 27th  with performances on August 29th. This advanced jazz ensemble is led by first call Seattle jazz guitarist Dan Schwindt. Dan brings years of experience as a performer and educator to this fun and challenging musical experience. Emphasis is placed on further developing improvisation vocabulary, deepening knowledge of the jazz tradition, and broadening exposure to different types of jazz and improvisational music. Music is selected by the instructor with input from students and tends to be drawn from the standard jazz canon. See songs and goals for advanced combos. Homework: Homework is comprised of playing assignments based on the combo music and individual needs.  Student Requirements: Punctual attendance and desire to learn and improve.
