Fusion Ensemble, Dan Schwindt, Wednesday, 7:30-9:00pm

This combo will meet weekly on Wednesdays running January 14th to March 18th with performances on March 20th, 21st, & 22nd. Led by Seattle first-call jazz guitarist Dan Schwindt, the Jazz Night School Fusion Ensemble offers a dynamic, challenging, and incredibly fun musical experience. Dan brings years of performance and teaching experience to guide you through the electrifying world of jazz fusion. Explore the sounds and techniques of legends like Yellowjackets, Weather Report, Return to Forever, as well as modern innovators like Dirty Loops, Snarky Puppy, and Hiromi. Over 10 weeks, you’ll dive deep into complex grooves, improvisation, and cutting-edge ensemble playing. The course culminates in a live performance at a local jazz venue, where you’ll showcase the skills, songs, and fusion mastery you’ve developed throughout the quarter.
