Size: 36x36 // framed Inspiration:  At this point in my life I’ve forgotten so many things, and my children are quick to remind me. How to solve quadratic equations. Common chemical compounds and their formulas. Exactly how WWI began. But what I have come to realize is that the things I’ve forgotten were required bits of learning imposed on me by somebody else - memorized for a short time, and are easily learned again if I’m so inclined. But the truly important things - those I will always know deeply in my body. What it is to love and be loved. What it is to feel safe. What it feels like to move your body to music, and to sing in harmony with a room full of people. What it feels like to build something of your own, to watch the people you love eat around the dinner table, and to travel in a land where you don’t speak the language.
