Size: 18x24 // framed Inspiration:  I forgot who I was for a moment.  I looked around the studio, full of blank canvases, and didn’t know if I even remembered how to paint.   I took a deep breath and asked myself for what I needed.  For what I could give.  And the answer came.     Soften.    To linger over each brushstroke, each mark, each splatter of paint.  To ask more questions and allow the answers to come.    Soften.    To enjoy this moment.  These canvases.  To create this work as an offering to you of comfort and connection.  A calm moment to share.  An acceptance for things as they are today.  A reminder to soften yourself.  Myself.  To experience today with ease.   Soften.   Details: This is a framed mixed media painting on a 3/4" gallery wrapped canvas. The simple float frame is made from unfinished maple.
