Black Krim Tomato Seeds
Black Krim Beefsteak Heirloom Black Tomato Vegetable SeedsBlack Krim aka Black Crimea, produces brownish-purple to maroon tomatoes, sometimes with green shoulders. On average they weigh about twelve ounces. They have a sweet, mild, and rich flavor that is preferred by many chefs. Its large and uniquely shaped fruit originates from the Crimean Peninsula near the Black Sea. It was first made available in the United States through the Seeds Savers Exchange in their 1990 yearbook by seed saver, Lars Olov Rosenstrom of Bronna, Sweden. He observed that the fruit turned a darker color if grown in a greenhouse compared to a brownish-purple color when grown outdoors. In a 2014 nutritional study, it ranked as the top tomato for its outstanding taste.Listing is for 1 packet of 15 seeds. I have limited quantities of this variety.
