Plants get around 3-4FT tall but produce full sized beefsteak tomatoes. The oblate fruits, weighing up to ten ounces, are green when fully ripe. I was very impressed by the flavor of these tomatoes. This is quite possibly the best tasting green tomato I have ever tried. Summertime Green tomatoes boast a juicy, sweet, and fruity flavor. The tender fleshy interior may exhibit a pinkish or amber blush when ripe. Determining ripeness can be challenging, especially in climates where the blush may not occur.
