Florida Broadleaf Mustard Green Seeds
Florida Broadleaf Mustard Greens Heirloom Vegetable SeedsThis is a very heat tolerant Florida heirloom mustard variety. I like to add a handful of blood meal into the planting hole which is an organic fertilizer high in nitrogen. Nitrogen promotes lots of green leafy growth. Mustard greens are high in vitamins A, B, and C. Does well in full sun, but if your in zones +8 and plan to grow during the summer, then I recommend to plant in a spot that gets afternoon shade. Can start harvesting leave in about 50 days. It is best to harvest when leaves are max 10 inches in length. Harvest single leaves by cutting 3 inches from the base instead of the entire plant to extend the harvest period.
