They look so pretty on a crudité platter or stir fried with other veggies. I like to add them raw to salads. They are best harvested just as the peas inside the pod start to swell at around 3 inches in length. The flavor is sweet. I snack on these as I work around the garden. Harvest regularly which will keep the vines producing over a longer period of time. Needs trellising/poles to grow on. Ideal Growing Conditions Sun: Full sun. In hot climates, plant in a spot that gets full morning sun with afternoon shade. Water: Keep the soil consistently moist Fertilizer: Do not fertilize nitrogen affixers like pea crops.
