What I love about this particular variety is that its multi branching and produces a ton of bright yellow sunny and happy sunflowers all along the main stem. The flowers tend to be 6-8 inches across. They make for good cut flowers too. The bees particularly love this variety of sunflower. The birds also perch on the stems and eat the dried seeds. I start my sunflowers seeds in small 72 cell trays. Once the seedling gets to about 4 inches tall, I transplant into my garden bed.
