There is a sweet Italian cigarette pepper that is pretty well known, but this is the spicy version. I have to use gloves to remove the seeds and dry them or my hands burn for days LOL. Plants are short and shrub like, getting to be around 2 FT at maturity. It produces loads of long 4 inch sized peppers. The peppers start off as a green color, turn black/purple, and finally turn completely red. You can harvest them at any color stage. Peppers are slow to germinate and slow to start growing to transplant size. I recommend to start seeds in pots/trays with a heat mat to speed up germinatio
