Amanita Mushroom Hand Embroidery - 4"

This original Fly Amanita (amanita muscaria) mushroom was stitched in December 2022 in a hand embroidery technique called "threadpainting". It's the only one of its kind. This beautiful mushroom was inspired by a photograph I took while I was out mushroom foraging in the mountains of California! I got kinda inspired stitching the moss on this one; it's growing everywhere!  The hoop measures 4" internally and is painted gold. It can be hung with a small nail using the hoop hardware at the top, or stood up with a plate stand (not included) on a table or shelf.
