Button Amanita Mushroom Hand Embroidery - 6"

This original Amanita mushroom was stitched in March 2023 in a hand embroidery technique called "threadpainting". It's a duplicate of the very first amanita I ever stitched, and was created as I worked out how to design the now-available PDF downloadable Hand Embroidery Pattern.  This beautiful mushroom was inspired by a photograph I took while I was out mushroom foraging in the mountains of California! It was the earliest button of the season, and came up on a hillside, so the veil and stipe were beautifully pronounced.  The hoop measures 5.5" internally and is painted gold. It can be hung with a small nail using the hoop hardware at the top, or stood up with a plate stand (not included) on a table or shelf.
