Shaggy Amanita Mushroom Hand Embroidery - 8"

This original Fly Amanita (amanita muscaria) mushroom was stitched in January 2023 in a hand embroidery technique called "threadpainting". It's the only one of its kind, and the largest in the Amanita Mushroom collection. This beautiful mushroom was inspired by a photograph I took while I was out mushroom foraging in the mountains of California. It was so big and shaggy and glorious! The hoop measures 8" internally and is painted a warm gold. It can be hung with a small nail using the hoop hardware at the top, or stood up with a plate stand (not included) on a table or shelf.
