Arched Trees Sterling Silver Earrings with Rosecut Orange Kyanite

I love how the trees arch over me when I am in the woods with my dog. The rosecut orange kyanite sparkle like the leaves in the autumn and the few stragglers that linger into the winter. I love the glow.  To create this piece, I first draw the design on recycled sterling silver sheet before drilling a teeny hole or holes into it and inserting the world's smallest saw blade. I am then able to cut out my illustration using a jeweler's saw. I finish the pendant by filing and sanding it, so that it has a satiny-smooth, rustic-looking finish.
