This Jingdezhen artwork teacup is painted with the Chinese traditional Peony flower by Jingdezhen experienced Pottery painter, Cao Heping "Blue and white pottery" (Chinese: 青花; pinyin: qīng-huā; lit. 'Blue flowers/patterns') covers a wide range of white pottery and porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment, generally cobalt oxide. This exquisite teaware takes two times to get burned in the cave after painting a Chinese landscape on it. There is also hand-signed signature of Master Cao Heping on the bottom of the teacup. Master Cao Heping, born in Jingdezhen in 1958, is an inheritor of Chinese ceramic art intangible heritage.
