This Jingdezhen artwork teacup is painted with the Chinese traditional Peony flower by Jingdezhen experienced Pottery painter, Cao Heping "Blue and white pottery" (Chinese: 青花; pinyin: qīng-huā; lit. 'Blue flowers/patterns') covers a wide range of white pottery and porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment, generally cobalt oxide. This exquisite teaware takes two times to get burned in the cave after painting a Chinese landscape on it. There is also hand-signed signature of Master Cao Heping on the bottom of the teacup. Master Cao Heping, born in Jingdezhen in 1958, is an inheritor of Chinese ceramic art intangible heritage. He has been influenced by his family's ceramic culture since he was a child, and he is particularly fond of hand-made porcelain craftsmanship.
