Joy Bubbles Forth | 20" x 20"

This painting is pure happiness in its infancy. The challenges at this point are passing bumps in the experience, which is overwhelmingly positive at this point. This one takes me back to childhood, when life was an endless exploration of the world around me, and I had no concept of the worries that can plague us in adulthood (or even adolescence). The colors exude pure joy, and they are loose and playful in form. The tactile nature of the colors, is simply another chance to enjoy this painting with all of our senses.  This painting was created for my "Rainbow Waves" solo show and was original displayed at Central Bank of Boone County. The show explored the dual ideas of rainbows as a representation of the joy of triumph over dark times, and waves as a representation of the relentless challenges we must navigate in life.  Joy Bubbles Forth is 20"x 20" and is wired for hanging.
