Porcelain Spider's Nest Table

A Tucker Robbins original reinterpretaion, made of Peruvian Porcelain. This design is inspired by Bamileke Tribe in Cameroon, the pattern speaks to their creation story: The world was woven into existence by the Great Spider, a feminine force. This spider is not just an ordinary creature but a divine being, symbolizing wisdom, communication with the ancestors, creativity, and the intricate connections between all things. The spider’s web is not just physical but spiritual: it connects all beings to each other and to the ancestors. The ancestors travel the web to visit the living, and the living  send prayers and messages along its threads. Beautiful.  Green Glaze 15.5" W x 17.5" H
