Blackledge Falls in winter freeze - Glastonbury, Connecticut When New England was predicted to see several inches of snow, I looked forward to searching for frozen waterfalls in Connecticut. It had been so cold that my visits to a few different spots were unsuccessful, so I drove over to the last waterfall on my list – Blackledge Falls in Glastonbury. It was an easy hike, and I was thrilled to find the middle falls still trickling. The icicles flowed to the ground with a perfect blue tint, and I knew the black rock ledge provided an ideal contrast. After waiting a few minutes for the fresh snow to build on the icy scene, I took advantage of the perfect overcast light and shot the photograph. Limited Edition - 2017: 50
