Winter storm clouds on Franconia Ridge - White Mountains, New Hampshire A recent snowstorm followed by a beautiful late-winter day led to a hike along the Old Bridle Path toward Mount Lafayette. When the ridge opened into this spectacular view, I knew I needed to stop and capture the clouds that had gathered along the peaks. Knowing that a black and white image would best suit the intensity of the scene, I carefully exposed the frames with the intention of converting to monochrome. Though a commonly photographed area of the White Mountains, I'm constantly inspired by the scenes I find while hiking. Limited Edition - 2018: 50
