Sunset On Mount Adams

Peak fall foliage on Mount Adams - White Mountains, New Hampshire At the end of a long day exploring fall foliage on Mount Adams, I noticed that a previously empty sky had developed clouds at a prime altitude for some sunset color. Thankfully, the White Mountains have no shortage of scenic views, so I pulled off the highway and found this vantage point as the glowing clouds wrapped around Mount Adams. New Hampshire fall foliage season is an exciting time of year, and I was quite pleased with the opportunity to photograph this quintessential New England landscape under such a stunning sunset. 2017 Chromatic Awards: Honorable Mention Open Edition - 2016
