It is single-origin and comes entirely from one crocus sativa farm.  It truly is some of the best saffron that we have ever seen. In addition to the amazing quality of her product, our farmer is one of the few female-owned businesses in a male-dominated market and currently employed 28 women. Afghani saffron is considered the best in the world, and we feel that saffron produced specifically in Herat is the best representation of Afghani saffron that we have had the privilege of working with.
