These MLS gaskets have been purpose-built to provide an excellent seal on ALL SOHC D-Series VTEC applications, from factory setups to high compression / nitrous / turbocharged / supercharged engines. Most turbo D-Series SOHC VTEC enthusiasts utilize a stock engine block & cylinder head with upgraded internal components, generating 2-4x the stock power levels. Upgraded head studs are a must, but many still struggle with head gasket sealing issues at 250+whp. For these problematic D16 applications, we've added a folded gas stopper ring design around the combustion chambers for a reliable combustion seal.
