If you know you know!  From the very start, we have always wanted to roast an ultra-dark, yet smooth & flavorful, coffee.  Enter Black Phoenix!  Bag Size: 12oz Single Origin: Colombia Roast Level: The Darkest Story Time: Black Phoenix Coffee was the original name of this coffee roasting business in 2010-2011. Our main objective was to roast high quality coffee, Dark. This was due to the fact that all other "dark roast" coffees were either not dark enough or tasted like charcoal. I would say we succeeded in our objective, so although the business name has changed the Outstanding Dark Roasted coffee has not!
