Looks to be a mourning or memorial bracelet with what appears to have been a compartment for hair. I suppose one could call it a "Forget Me Not" keepsake bracelet as well. Speculation on my part as without the hinged cover, there is simply no way for me to know what the actual purpose of the piece was beyond a bracelet. Each link appears to be a puffy double heart design which is really pretty unusual and crafty on the part of the maker. Measures about 8" long. The width of each of the links is about 13.92mm. Each of the links and the top are all hollow. Everything looks to be hand worked. There are two hinge pin mounts, one of which are broken. Hence the pin itself and the top to the piece are missing. No marking on the piece that I could see aside from a stamp on one o'ring of the safety chai
